MARKET PROCEDURES
PAYMENT: Cash only, full amount, no credit provided. All pre-booked stalls to be paid at time of booking. Stalls hired on the market day to be paid before entering the market area. No refunds or discounts will be given.
RUBBISH & UNSOLD GOODS: Stall holders are required to keep their stall space and surrounds free from rubbish and litter at all times. All rubbish and unsold goods must be taken away. Do not dispose of rubbish in shop bins.
PARKING: Vehicles may be parked within the boundaries of booked stall spacebut NOT in the stalls along the railway fence. Vehicles not parked in booked stall spaces should be parked legally in surrounding designated parking areas. No parking in vacant stalls.
CONDUCT: The RCBMC wishes to provide a friendly, pleasant and safe environment for the public to enjoy. Stall holders are therefore required to observe acceptable standards of courtesy and behaviour towards the public, other stall holders and Rotary Staff. Stall holders committing any offence such as using indecent language, assault, theft, fraud, possession of stolen goods, etc. may be reported to the police. Please note that the Rotary Club reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject any person from the market without providing any reason.
STALL SPACE: Stall holders must operate within the confines of the stall space allocated. No items are to be placed in walk-ways. Un-authorised use of “vacant” stalls is prohibited.
STALL ALLOCATION: The RCBMC reserves the right to move the stall holder to a stall position other than the stall number indicated on this ticket at any time and without giving any reason.
BOOKINGS: Some casual stalls will be made available at the desecration of the RCBMC from 6:30 am and from 10:am at the main gate, and on the internet from 2pm Sunday for the following week. See web site for full details.
NON ATTENDANCE: Stalls not occupied by 7.30 a.m. will be forfeited to casuals requiring stalls.
TRADERS IN SECOND-HAND GOODS: All people trading in second-hand goods must register with the Business Licensing Authority or risk a $11,234.00 fine. For information visit www.bla.vic.gov.au This does not apply to people selling their personal possessions.
